Update and Winner

Tuesday, November 16, 2010.
I want to thank all of you for all your wonderful comments and a lot of interesting charts definitely were on everyones wishlist. I will have the winner for you at the end of this post.

Well we have received a lot of snow in the last 24 hours. I know you all are thinking well you live in Canada its suppose to be like that. And it is freezing currently we are at 9 F/-13C. Let me tell you it is a bit of a shocker to the system still lol. I have a video for you all to watch of my dog Thor playing in the snow
Also here is some pictures of what it looks like at the moment And it is still snowing here at the moment. We are suppose to have snow all week.

For my stitching I am still working on Monopoly. I didn`t feel I got a lot done but in reality I did as all I did all weekend when I was off was pretty much sleep so here is what it looks like now.
I am hopping that I will be done this in 2 weeks then I can move onto my HAED as that is my next project to stitch.

Now without waiting any longer the winner of my contest is Terri aka Bronzemom. She will be getting the chart Quaker Alphabet by La D Da and a few extras. Here is her site Confessions of a Stitch Wraith

Thank again for all your well wishes and reading my blog. Also adding there is a contest here At Shelley's Artsy Fartsy Life
Hugs
Terri

Goodness, I think I would go stir-crazy on the Monopoly project -- but it's looking good! Where did you ever find the pattern?!

I am NOT envious of your snow, and although I know it snows quite a bit in most of Canada, I'm not someone who thinks of the country as one vast ski slope -- I have a cousin in BC, and I envy him his weather. Meanwhile, I'm hanging by my thumbs waiting for the shoe to drop here in New England -- can't believe we haven't had snow yet, but I know that when it comes, it will BE HERE.

You need to rest. Your game is coming along very nicely too. Yes, I know what you mean about snow is normal to happen up where you live but it is down here too. Yet it's a shock to the body cause of the cold temps too. Have a wonderful day!

Congratulations to Bronzemom! It is her lucky month, she was a winner of my giveaway also!!! Terri should buy a lotto ticket!

The weather is pretty much the same here in the Yukon... and it is very windy which makes even colder.

Congrats on your wip - you've made a lot of progress!

Your Monopoly project is looking fabulous!!! I'm really looking forward to seeing the finish! Have fun with the HAED - you're an amazing and patient stitcher...your fun is almost contagious for the big projects! :)
As for the snow...ummm, not so much. I love visiting the north and making snow angels and drinking hot chocolate but there's also a lot to be said for living in the south and drinking sweet iced tea in January. LOL :)
Congrats to Terri!!!

Monopoly is looking good! How did you work out where to start? I have this chart and haven't a clue! I've got as far as starting to tack the fabric and that's it lol!

Monopoly looks good Terri! I wish we had your snow instead of the nasty cold rain we've been having.

Congrats to Terri!
