Here is the coke truck they were handing out flags for us. They have always been a huge sponser of the Olympics.
This truck is to get the crowd excited for the torch.
And the beauty of the Olympic torch. It really makes me proud to have the Olympics in Canada. My daughter got to see it too which I was extremely happy about. I know she will never forget it. Like I did the first time in 1988 when Calgary hosted the olympics.
As for stitching I do have a finish but cannot show it as it's for the ILCS Valentine Exchange I have to finish it into a card. And get it out hopefully will get it done this weekend. Also worked on a bookmark that I cannot show as the recipent reads my blog. I will have a stitching update on the weekend as I went back to Elfland .
Hugs
Terri

I'm a huge fan of the Olympics - how exciting to have the torch come through your town! Great pictures - and lucky you to have been able to attend one of the Olympics, even awhile back! Hope you're feeling better soon. :)

Your pics are great!! Mine are so sad next to yours.
Glad you also got to see the torch!
How cool! The closest I would be to them was if Chicago won..... oh well.
Yeah I missed it when it came through my area as well. I was at a Christmas bruch that I had paid for in advance so I wasn't throwing my money away.
